Focus Area:  Custom Glock Triggers for Competition or Carry

There is a new face on the shooting seen.  It belongs to Charlie Vanek of northern Arkansas.  He's been attending the Oil Capital monthly IPSC match.  Simply put, it's your lucky day if you shoot a Glock.

Charlie does what could easily be called the finest trigger job that can be done on a Glock.  He has been able to take a Glock trigger down as low as 14 ounces while still maintaining reliability.  Now, you and I both know that pull weight isn't what makes a good Glock trigger.  It takes a shorter take-up, faster reset, a smooth break, and no over travel. (NOTE:  All 3 safeties remain fully functional.)   Well, that's exactly what Charlie gives you.  I had Charlie do the trigger on my Glock 17 and so far its shot everything I've put through it including CCI Blazers.  Look for Charlie at the local matches and feel the difference yourself.
